Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Utility Tools (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You may use the Service only if you can form a binding contract with the operator, or with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
2. The Service
Utility Tools is a free collection of twenty browser-based utilities - converters for images, documents, data formats and media, plus generators for QR codes, passwords, proposals, profile cards and countdowns. All processing happens locally in your browser; files you select are never uploaded to any server.
The Service is provided free of charge, without accounts, and supported by goodwill. We reserve the right to add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time.
3. Your content stays yours
We claim no ownership or license over any file, text, image or data you process with the Service. Because content never leaves your device, we cannot access it, and all intellectual-property rights in your material remain entirely with you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the tools to process content you have no right to process (for example, material that infringes someone else's rights).
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its hosting infrastructure.
- Misrepresent the Service as your own product, or remove its branding when redistributing outputs that embed it.
5. No warranty
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED - INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversion output will meet your requirements. Browser capabilities vary; always verify important output.
6. Backups and data loss
The Service processes files in memory and does not retain copies. You are solely responsible for keeping backups of your original files. Drafts and preferences saved in your browser's local storage can be lost if you clear site data, reset your browser, or uninstall the app - treat local storage as convenient, not permanent.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATORS OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE - EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Because the Service is free, you accept it on this basis.
8. Third-party links and services
The Service may link to third-party websites (such as a voluntary support page) and loads typefaces from a font CDN. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services; their own terms and policies apply when you use them.
9. Changes to the Service or these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
